Solid stone, load ran a little wet
Picked up twelve tons through Nebraska Rock Supply for a base under a new equipment shed pad west of town. Stone itself is exactly the size we needed for drainage, angular enough to lock in once we ran the plate compactor over it. Only knock is the first load came in wetter than expected, which meant an extra pass to get it tight. Held fine through the spring rains after that.

Cattle lane finally holds up in mud season
Our lane back to the calving shed turns into soup every time the snow melts fast in February.
