Went into the concrete mix without issue
We mix our own concrete on smaller jobs out here in the Panhandle instead of ordering ready mix from Scottsbluff every time, and the number eight has worked into the batches clean for two pours now, a slab for a well house and a small pad for a propane tank. About four tons covered both jobs with some left in the pile for patchwork. Driver dumped it on plywood like we asked so it didn't churn up the yard, and the fines run low enough that we're not fighting extra water in the mix. Cured hard both times with no crumbling at the edges.

Nice fine stone, underestimated how much we needed
Put in a small path around the daycare's outdoor play area, about three tons of the number eight for a smooth surface little feet wouldn't trip on. Works great and drains fast after rain. Ended up needing one more ton than the online calculator said to finish the last stretch by the fence, but otherwise no complaints.

Perfect bedding for the new water line
Ran a new water line out to the machine shed and needed pipe bedding that wouldn't shift once it was buried. Two tons of the number eight did the job, easy to shovel and tamp around the pipe by hand. County inspector didn't blink when he saw it. Ground's been dug into twice since for other work and the line hasn't moved.
